I think this is a very good subject to be concerned about. There are so many people, both young and old, that go through life with problems, mental, social, economical or otherwise, that cause them to become depressed and end up committing suicide.

  2. Ruth Wilcox says:

Great subject matter because many suffer with mental illness and suicidal thoughts in silence for fear of being frowned upon or looked at negatively.

Unfortunately suicide is always a relevant subject. We are experiencing troubled times with the pandemic and the always present – social pressures of society. Addressing the prevalence of suicide as an outcome of some of these pressures could only be helpful and advantageous.

Great essay on a subject matter that gets very little attention in our community. You will make an outstanding mental health professional.

Great essay, really hits home with me also. I lost my brother to suicide in 2019 also and miss him everyday. I tried to figure out why and only stressed me more, talking to my minister really helped and believe it can help others. Stay strong my young sister and keep on writing!
