One World Education believes that students should write to be read, in addition to earning a grade. At the conclusion of the in-school One World Program, teachers nominate up to two students per school, who are honored as Student Ambassadors at a celebration in the spring after attending Writing Workshops, where they meet with mentors to refine their writing toward publication.
