As Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Jessica supports teachers in helping students find their voices and develop as writers. A teacher for over 10 years, she first encountered One World at Capital City PCS, where her students rocked the One World Challenge! She is an author, too—of curriculum for PBS Learning Media and of the middle-grade novel Nice and Mean, published by Simon and Schuster. She holds an MFA in Writing for Children from Vermont College of Fine Arts, a Master’s in Teaching from NYU, and a BA from Brown University. She believes in the power of stories.
