Over 100 One World students have been hard at work since the end of September on their essays, stage presentations, and poster boards, all on social justice topics that matter to them. We have students at five afterschool academies now! At our partner UNCF’s headquarters downtown, we see students from schools across the city. And in Wards 7 and 8, we have students at Friendship Southeast PCS, Statesmen College Preparatory Academy for Boys, Cesar Chavez PCS, and Ingenuity Prep PCS.
These students will come together for a culminating showcase on Monday, December 15th, to present their social justice research findings and solutions to their communities and compete for scholarships. Join us to see why the One World Challenge is one of the city’s preeminent education events!
