The most recent edition of the prestigious English Journal, the flagship publication of the National Council of Teachers of English, features an article about the One World Program, Argumentative Writing and the Common Core in the DCPS: A Qualitative Analysis of Student and Teacher Perceptions, which discusses the perceptions of students and teachers who have participated. Using focus groups, the authors found widespread support among both groups, as well as plenty of constructive feedback for improvements!

The article was authored by Dr. Edward Comstock, a senior professorial lecturer in the College Writing Program at American University, and Dr. Quentin Wodon, a lead economist in the Education Practice at the World Bank.
