For the second consecutive year, Cap One employees welcomed One World students at the Cap One Cafe in downtown DC for a final practice before they will appear on stage for the One World Challenge on Friday, April 28.

“It was incredibly valuable to have the chance to practice with adults I didn’t know,” said One World student Hatcher Pitts. “I realized that when I present in front of strangers I get anxious and speed way up. I am more determined than ever to slow down now.”

Capital One Ambassador Phoebe Edwards lit up with enthusiasm as she provided students with feedback about slowing down, making more eye contact, and maintaining great posture. “I love how hard these students are working to excel,” she said. “I plan on being available again next year to do whatever I can to help them.”
