Educators: Are you seeking inspiration?
One World Education is DC’s largest writing organization. Over the past 16 years, we have helped more than 65,000 students become writers with voice, knowledge, and purpose.
We’re looking for experienced teachers for our 2026-27 Teacher-Leader Team. Each semester, we run a 10-week after-school program where students research and write about a social justice issue, then turn their writing into dynamic presentations for our citywide competition, the One World Challenge. Our Teacher-Leaders use our curriculum to lead small-group instruction with motivated middle school students from across the District.
Who’s Successful on Our Team
Experienced educators who make learning fun and show students they care. A BA is required, and we’re eager to welcome team members who are proficient in Spanish and have a background in Special Education.
