Monique utilizes her background as a Special Educator with DC Public Schools and her pivotal role as a TLT and Site Lead to provide curriculum instruction and overall support to in-school programs and partnerships. She is passionate about teaching youth how to advocate for their mental, physical, and emotional needs and providing safe and conducive environments for learning and growth through Social Emotional Learning techniques. She holds an MSED from Johns Hopkins University, a BA in Sociology from Pepperdine University, and a Certificate in Creative Writing from Emory University.
