The World 
Affairs Council hosts a series of educator events throughout the summer and OWEd Executive Director, Eric Goldstein, was their featured speaker in June, where he shared OWEd's programs with teachers from around the Capital Region.
The organization is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to expanding awareness among the American public and the international community of geo-political, business, and civil society issues.
In July Eric lent his expertise to a career planning panel for YEP Connect: Edu-Jobs, an event hosted by the Young Education Professionals. Young educators exploring their career options had the chance to engage with policy, legislative, non-profit, and research professionals and discuss strategies for finding, getting, and advancing in a career in education.
