On February 26, 2010, One World Education participated in the Just World Festival at Annandale High School along with US Congressman and former presidential candidate Dennis J. Kucinich and Owner of Busboys and Poets and Iraqi-American Peace Activist, Andy Shallal. The event was organized by the Annandale High School Just World and Interact Club and was open to students from the Mid-Atlantic region. Around 500 student attended the event and participated in the interactive exhibitions from organizations and student clubs that were in attendance along with OWEd.
