The One World Path to Excellence

Petula Dvorak of the Washington Post did a fantastic job writing about students at the Ambassador Challenge.

But what happened leading up to the big event?

100 teachers trained in using the One World Program in August 2018.

4,000 DC students learned research and writing skills in classrooms in Fall 2018.

50 students were selected in January 2019 to turn their essays into oral presentations. They then spent seven weeks after school learning presentation skills at UNCF.

Last-minute practices at UNCF got pretty intense.

Hard work paid off with magic on stage and at the display boards on March 26, 2019.

We feel deeply privileged to have been able to work with these wonderful young people!
